Gravely unveils commercial for national advertising campaign

Gravely unveiled a new commercial, which showcases the brand’s professional zero-turn mowers in a new way. This commercial will be used as part of the brand’s national advertising campaign for spring 2017.

Gravely’s “Built to Mow the Distance” TV spot was inspired by the landscapers who use its products every day. Typically, landscape professionals think of the work they do in terms of hours mowed. This commercial explores how the hours add up. To show what landscapers really put their mowers through, the commercial aims to redefine their work by showing the amount of miles mowed in any given year of work. The message of the commercial highlights the importance of purchasing a mower that’s in it for the long haul.

“We have a lot of excitement for the things that we’re doing with the Gravely brand,” said Ariens Company Vice President of Marketing Matt Medden. “This year, we launched more brand-new products than ever before, and so far the feedback has been astounding. This commercial and campaign, for us, is the final step to showing our new 100-year old brand to the world.”

The TV spot will be shown on a variety of nationally airing programs, including the SEC network, NCAA basketball tournament, Fox News, CNN, select MLB in-game programs and more. Gravely commissioned Cramer-Krasselt, a national award-winning agency, to lead the development and creation of the commercial.
